Spider-Man took in more money in its opening weekend than any film in history despite the fact it is utter garbage.

Ticket sales for movies are at an alltime high.
Why? Is it becasue the movies are better with thick plots that stimulate your mind and enhance your life. NO, its an escape.

For those of you who have seen Star Wars II you know what I'm talking about... What the hell happened to the movie industry? Watching people make billlions of dollars off of fools who are willing to stand in line for 2 days to see someone wave a stick of light at a poorly rendered robot is enough to make one lose his lunch.

I'll stick to movies like "A Peanuts Christmas" and "Dwarf Goes Fishing" god knows they are more entertaining than the contemporary pop garbage they cram down your neck year after year...

thats the effect of the commercial-to-the bone american film industry killing good films everywhere

for an example of a good film (in some opinions, at least)

Personally.. the last good movie i was was... i dunno.. armageddon.. i think i just love that movie.. then again.. i hear i have really bad taste in movies... *sigh* at least ive never seen titanic.. and i plan to keep it that way.. (that means you jave)

Welp, that crapfest spider man set another record today.
It made 300 Milllion Dollars faster than any movie in HISTORY.
